I only see Claude Code and Codex available as agents within the Models tab when using "Bring your own". I see Codex was recently added, so perhaps not all that are listed on the features page are ready? https://www.fredrin.com/features
Hi Sam, we initially had opencode and pi, but we had to take them down as we decided to focus on Anthropic and OpenAI for now. We will add the others back in once we have a stable footing. It will probably be back by end of the month.
Thanks for continuing integration here! I see the Opencode harness is now available. Do you guys plan on fully using its provider system? I'm surprised to only find the following models available within Fredrin when I pay for Opencode Go, and have more models available from Zen. Hi Sam — you were right, and thanks for pasting your list back at us: those nine were literally a hardcoded array on our side. Fredrin now asks OpenCode itself what models it resolves for your authenticated providers, and does the same for pi.dev. The picker shows our curated set plus whatever your own machines report, so on Go/Zen you should see your Zen catalog rather than our nine. The curated list stays as an offline fallback. Please give it a try!
Hey Jae, that's exactly what I was hoping for! Unfortunately, it's not working for me on an M3 Max Macbook Pro. When I first updated to the latest Fredrin (0.39.0), I saw in the Agent settings window that I correctly was logged into Opencode with a Subscription. However, when I tried to change the model, I saw the same list as my previous post. I then swapped to API Key, checked and found the same. Then swapped to Fredrin AI and saw the same. I then could not switch back to Subscription, even after closing the app and reinstalling it. I'm also seeing under the Opencode API Key option "Claude" and "OpenAI" API keys rather than Zen. So while you're on the right track with the feature design, it's not working for me.
Confirming this issue is still present in 0.40.0
